The arrested accused has been identified as Nassir Uddin, S/O-Sultan Mia, resident of Baillamura, Chikanchara village under Bishramganj PS.

Police recently seized drums filled with Ganja from Sultan Mia’s house, and it was known Sultan Mia’s son, who had just returned after living in a foreign country for a long was engaged in drug peddling.

Allegedly, he used to supply drugs by carrying them on his scooty.

Since the raid, Nassir Uddin had been missing and finally police could arrest him after he entered a marriage function in the locality.

He was produced in the Bishalgarh court on Wednesday.
