AGARTALA, May 7 (TIWN): “TRBT itself has started investigation. How can TRBT conduct own investigation ? It must seek police’s help to find the facts,” said DYFI secretary Nabarun Deb after meeting TRBT chairman Pratyosh Ranjan Deb over Udaipur TET exam cheating incident.
Nabarun expressed concerns over TRBT’s negligence over the entire matter amid serious allegations raised against a teacher named Paritosh Saha to bring his wife along with OMR sheet to the staff room and cheating in the exam at Kakrabon Shyama Prasad Mukherjee school.
According to the allegation, a teacher, Paritosh Saha helped her wife Pinky Saha to cheat in the examination.
Yesterday, DYFI also placed deputation to the Gomati District Education Officer, and told media, “According to rules, no employee can be on duty in the center when an immediate family member is a candidate. But breaking all rules, with political power, he not only was on duty but he managed to fill up his wife’s OMR sheet sitting right in the staff room.”
