Agartala, February 8 (TIWN): Keeping Bar Council of Tripura’s election in view, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Legal Cell constituted a 15-member ad hoc committee in a state level meeting at BJP’s Head Office in Bijoy Kumar Chowmohani here today.
The ad hoc committee would monitor the various problems being faced by the lawyers and would take up the issues with the state level and central committees, said Santanu Bhattacharjee, convener of state legal cell in a press conference today. Beside the committee would frame the strategy for the upcoming Bar election, he added.
“Strength of BJP legal cell is being increased expectedly and the membership drive is going on in full swing across the state”, said Bhattacharjee.
The 15-member committee was formed including Arun Kanti Bhowmik, Subal Bhowmik, Pulak Debnath, Bidyut Ghosh, Prasanta Ghosh and Santanu Bhattacharjee was chosen as the convener of the committee. Pradesh BJP’s organizational secretary- Sundal Paul and other BJP leaders also attended the press conference.
