AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN): “Tripura is emerging as one of the finest states in the Northeast. Right now Tripura is so peaceful that people are coming forward to invest for Tripura,” said Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha Tuesday during speech in a school’s foundation day ceremony. “Tripura is now becoming an education hub. Earlier, students used to go other states for education and now, students are coming to Tripura for higher education,” said CM Dr. Manik Saha.

"We have implemented National Education Policy, and launched SMART-classes, labs. We started mission-mukul, the pre-primary level education," added CM.

"We have been bringing revolutions in education sectors. Skill Universities, Open University, Dhamma Dipa University---we are doing all these," CM Dr. Saha said.

“We have started the distribution of bicycles among girl students. Merit-based scholarships are provided. Our government modernized the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) based on the current needs,” said Dr. Saha.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for an upgraded education curriculum and Tripura Government is successfully doing it,” said Dr. Saha.
