AGARTALA, Feb 10 (TIWN): 2022’S STGT job aspirants begged to meet Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Monday but they were fated once again with arrests and police force. The job aspirants with their uncertain future have been trying to meet the CM for last three years but neither the CM has met them nor he has sent any official to talk to them in his place.
On Monday, the STGT job aspirants tried to meet CM but as soon as they reached the Laxmi Narayan Bari area, police arrested them. This is the second time that the STGT job aspirants were arrested within weeks. Earlier also many times, police arrested them amid protests.
Many candidates have turned overage which is concerning them about their future. In 2022, the job aspirants cracked the STGT exams. The state government has excused a legal issue to recruit them, whereas the job aspirants said, there is no such legal issue remaining obstructing their recruitment.
Tripura teaching Job aspirants, unemployed youths were arrested by Police.
“It’s now three years that we have not been recruited and trying to meet the Chief Minister but failed to meet him. Today we gathered to meet him but police stopped us. Recently, he said that the STGT matter is under judiciary but we are not aware of that. We can see through media that posts are being increased regularly. What we want that the government to recruit us all at a time. We want the Chief Minister to look at us with humanity,” a job aspirant said.
The question remains, if the government can not recruit, why did it organize the competitive exams, arousing hopes for employment? BJP Govt multiple times canceled exams and recruitment processes since it came to power, causing frustration among the job aspirants.
