‘No religion has right to take law in hands’ : Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind slammed Kadamtala violence

AGARTALA, Oct 9 (TIWN): Demanding action against culprits and also the police, administrators for the Kadamtala incident, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind condemned the overall incident that caused mayhem there.

“Over 80 shops of innocent people were burnt, people were attack. No religion has right take law in hand,” said the Muslim body.

They demanded 100% compensation for the affected victims in this riot.

“If CM’s order about puja collection was obeyed this incident could be avoided. India a secular nation. So all religions must conduct their festivals and other religions can not be forced to donate without their wish,” said the organization.

They also demanded security during Durga puja.

The Muslim body also said, they are trying meet the Chief Minister but he is not giving them time.
