One person was arrested in this connection named Samarjyoti Dhar, a resident of Ballamukha area.

Last Saturday, Belonia electric department employees reached the Ballamukha area to fix the electric line. All of a sudden some miscreants attacked them, and heavily beat them.

In protest, the electric department employees blocked the road demanding arrests. FIR was lodged against a total 7 persons

Out of the 7, police arrested one person named Samarjyoti Dhar. A case was registered (Case No-62/24) and imposed section 126 (2)/ 127 (2)/ 121 (2)/ 3(5).
