In 1988 the school was converted into a high school from junior basic school.

Finally, today the Noagaon Krishnanagar school elevated into a Higher Secondary School.

A program was organized today on this occasion, in the presence of Mayor cum MLA Dipak Majumder, Corporator Shampa Sen and others.

Incidentally, the Chief Minister Dr. Manik Sahar was supposed to be present in this event today. But he could not attend today's function as he is now in Delhi to met the Central leaders.
