AGARTALA, April 15 (TIWN): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday in his Kumarghat speech said, Tipra Motha chief Pradyot Manikya is a very clever person who prioritized his people’s issues in the agreement.

“The agreement which was signed between Govt of India, Govt of Tripura and Tipra Motha, was aimed to avoid any conflict between Tipura’s Jati and Janjati communities,” said Shah.

“Raja Saheb although considered as a King is more clever than Bania. He kept focussed on each of your little benefits and PM Modi has blessed the project,” added Shah.

Shah further said, two tribals of Tripura have been awarded Padmashree, and PM Modi has done this in respect to the tribal culture.
