LONGTARAI VALLEY, Feb 29 (TIWN): People were screaming across the area when fighters were trying to bring the fire under control at Dhumachara market in Longtarai Valley after a massive fire burst in that area. In a devastating fire incident, markets burnt into ashes affecting over 20 shops. The incident took place late at night on Wednesday. Seeing the fire flames, the local people informed the Fire Brigade and Manu Fire Brigade team immediately they rushed to the spot.

But the fire spread heavily across the area which needed additional fire brigade forces. The Chailengta Fire Brigade forces reached there. After hours of attempts, the fire was extinguished.

It took over three hours to bring the fire under control. It has been assumed that due to a short circuit, this fire incident took place.

Many small-scale businessmen were left devastated due to the unexpected loss.
