AGARTALA, Dec 28 (TIWN): Drug addicted population continue disturbing common men’s lives in Tripura amid Tripura Govt’s slogan for ‘Nesha Mukta Tripura’. In such a deteriorated situation of the law and order's citation, a victim came up before media after his bike was set on fire by drug-addicted man. Reportedly, a drug dealer named Tapas Das met in with an argument with Prasenjit Das in Belonia. After the argument, Prasenjit left from the place but Tapas Das started chasing Prasenjit behind. It was in front of the Hati park when Prasenjit Das was attacked by Tapas Das. As a result, Prasenjit fell from his bike. Then Tapas Das seized Prasenjit’s bike’s key and then set the bike on fire.
Tapas Das further warned Prasenjit to show them deadly consequence if he complaints to police.
Victim Prasenjit and his mother sought justice and compensation for their loss.
