AGARTALA, Dec 18 (TIWN): Minister Sushanta Chowdhury distributed job offer letters among 37 Lower Division Clerks (LDC) for Food Department through an official program at the Secretariat in the presence of Food Dept officers.
In an address to the newly appointed employees, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said, they have to work for the people dedicatedly.
“It has been seen many that some officers like to complicate the simple things. A work which can be done in simple way, it would be made complicated to delay the work. Suppose a common man visits the office for ration card but the officer directly tells him/her to visit again later. This approach should be stopped”, said Sushanta Chowdhury.
“Our Govt is pro-people and each household should receive the benefit. That’s why PM Modi’s Vikashita Bharat Sanklap Yatra initiated and we are to provide house-to-house-Sushashan and without Food Dept’s good works, Sushashan is not possible”, added Minister Sushanta Chowdhury.
