AGARTALA, Dec 12 (TIWN): The central govt has released funds for development under the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER).

The total amount of the sanctioned fund is Rs. 717 crores.

A total of Rs 202 crore has been sanctioned dental college construction and Rs 192 crore was approved for  mother and childcare unit at AGMC.

More Rs 121 crore has been sanctioned for setting up a drug de-addiction center in Sepahijala district. An outlay of Rs 80 crore has been preserved for expansion of solar power in the tribal-dominated areas and Rs 122 crore was also approved for taking up three rural road construction projects.
