AGARTALA, Dec 2 (TIWN): Under BJP’s claimed HIRA regime, people are not free from daily highway troubles due to deplorable road conditions.

Locals of Bairagi area, Korbook, sat in protest by blocking road. The agitating public demanded immediate repairing of the Jatanbari-Karbook and Shilachari road.

The protest was led by Tipra Motha leadership.

“The authority promised to solve the roadway problem before Durga puja. But now Christmas is close by and there is no hope for road repairing”, said a leader of the Tipra Motha party.

Later, SDM rushed to the spot, talked to the agitating public and assured them that their problem will be solved at the earliest.
