Agartala, January 27 (TIWN): On 26th January at about 0845 hours one Auto truck bearing No.TR-02-A-1846 while proceeding from Chartilla to Rowa met an accident at Rowa (about 2 Km North from PS). As a result one Miss-Sumita Das(12), a student of Class-VI D/O Sri Sujit Das of Rowa, Ward No.4, PS-Panisagar who boarded in that Auto received grievous injuries on her person and was shifted to Panisagar Hospital where attending doctor declared her brought dead.

The accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving on the part of the driver of the auto truck. It is also mentioned here that deceased Sumita Das had attended in a run competition which was organized by Tajmahal Club of Panisagar in c/w Republic Day,2015. During run Miss-Sumita Das felt ill and immediately she was being shifted to Panisagar Hospital by the aforesaid offending Auto truck.

Panisagar PS staff visited the place of occurrence and seized the auto truck. Driver of offending auto truck namely Madan Nath S/O unknown is absconding. In this regard a case has been registered vide Panisagar PS Case No. 05/15 u/s 279/304(A) IPC.    

On 26th January at about 0945 hours, one truck bearing No.TR-04-8109 and another motor bike bearing No.TR-07-4282(Pulsar) were proceeding towards Kathalia from Sonamura and while reached at Sonamura bridge Chowmohani (about 7 K.M. East from PS) the said motor bike dashed to the truck on back side. As a result bike rider namely Suleman Hossain (16), S/O Jahangir Hossain of N.C.Nagar and pillion rider namely Salman Hossain @ Sohag (18), S/O Abu Taher of Hospital road Sonamura, PS-Sonamura received grievous injuries on their persons and were shifted to GBP Hospital via Melagarh Hospital. Injured Salman Hossain succumbed to his injuries at GBP Hospital during treatment. Treatment of other injured person is going on. The accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving on the part of the rider of the motor bike. Sonamura PS staff visited the place of occurrence and seized both the involved truck and motor bike. Driver of involved truck is absconding. In this connection a case has been registered vide Sonamura PS Case No.07/15 u/s 279/ 338/ 304(A) IPC against the bike rider.
