AGARTALA, January 26 (TIWN): Recently appointed working president of Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee Pradyot Kishore while talking to TIWN today said, “Tripura stands far behind from better infrastructural development”. “Education has to be improved in rural Tripura”.

Asked about the agenda as a new working president of Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Pradyot Kishore Manikya today talking to TIWN said that he has plans to bring back the deserted members and induct them at the Congress party who really can make a contribution to the party in coming days.

Asked about his sight on increasing rate of corruption here in Tripura, Pradyot told TIWN that the corruption is rampant here in the state. Therefore sit –in block level meeting may bring a solution to the problem rather than sitting here in the capital city and address the issue, said Pradyot.

Later asked about his view on the current education system in the rural Tripura, Pradyot said that education system at the rural Tripura needs to be improved at large.
Criticizing Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on the issue of his statement of blaming royal regime in terms of education, Pradyot said that the statement made by Manik Sarkar once is absolutely unfounded while the truth is Tripura stands far behind from better education system in the rural Tripura.
“Therefore inspite of comparing himself with the royal regime of Tripura, Manik Sarkar needs to compare himself with the other North Eastern states”, said Pradyot to TIWN.
However, later asked about his view on the role of BJP here in Tripura, Pradyot talking to TIWN said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here in Tripura needs to ensure good politics from a state level and not from national level.
He also said “The BJP at the center needs to stop highlighting Tripura CM Manik Sarkar as an honest CM”.
Adding to that he said that the BJP here in the state has to be serious with the development that lacks behind in Tripura.
It is to be mentioned here that Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar  targeted the Manikya royal family of the state and said that no development was done in the royal regime, and then went further saying that neither in the long Congress rule that followed till 1978. And making a counter attack to CM’s statement Pradyot said that the Chief Minister keeping its trend has to blame someone for the current state of affairs in Tripura , so rather than taking any responsibility he is passing the buck to the kings who ruled the state way back in the 1940′s .
But according to a political analyst at Agartala, one cannot deny that Pradyot Manikya,  who belongs to estwhile royal family here in Tripura, Pradyot has always been known in Media for his immature personality and has been always engaged in sit-in home politics and passion for fancy rock band music. Tripura's people expect much more from Pradyot as his father Late King is highly revered in State for many developmental works.
However though it’s a time now to witness what major role Pradyot plays being a working president here in Tripura whereas the Pradesh Congress recently might have sidelined certain issues for their new working president Pradyot to deal with.
But as per the political analysts, TPCC's much hyped working president Asish Saha might face a setback if Pradyot Kishore jumps into restructuring State Congress with full throttle.
