AGARTALA, July 1 (TIWN): Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath visited GB hospital and talked to the patients and patients' families on Saturday who were injured during Kumarghat Rath Jatra electricity accident.

The Power Minister also handed over Rs. 50,000 to the patient parties.

“Two to Three cases are very critical but we are hopeful that everyone will be cured. Today is Doctors’ Day. First of all, I wish to all doctors of the state and thank them for the dedicated support to the health services. Amid such overloads in GB Hospital, how the Doctors are managing only God knows”, said Ratan Lal Nath.

“Humans are for humans. Our Govt believe in ‘not me but you’. The incident of Kumarghat is unfortunate. Who should be blamed for the incident and who should not be, CM has ordered a probe into the incident to find the answer. But right now. It’s important to support the families and that’s why our Govt is compensating each victims”, said Ratan Lal Nath.
