AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): Jamthum area’s Multipurpose Cooperative society poll has been won by CPI-M party. It is reported that Tipra Motha and BJP jointly fight the poll but failed to win against the CPI-M. The CPI-M winner candidates said, just like the 2023 Assembly poll, the Tipra Motha helped BJP in this poll too but failed to bring any impact. CPI-M has won four out of four seats.
Talking to media, the winner candidates said that when the entire nation is suffering due to BJP’s misrule, Tripura is also suffering due to that. In 2024 Lok Sabha election, BJP’s defeat is guaranteed, said the winner candidates adding that such winning of the Left Parties to bring significant results in the upcoming polls.
