AGARTALA, January 23 (TIWN): BJP, youth wing Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Tripura Unit organized an awareness campaign titled “Mission 2018” at Agartala Press Club, here today. Addressing in the awareness campaign titled “Mission 2018” BJP Tripura Unit President Sudhindra Dasgupta said that BJP already launched a strong movement against the CPIM and discard the politics of Congress.

We have no doubt in snatching power from the CPIM in the next 2018 Assembly elections in this state. The state BJP unit to go for all out effort to remove the Manik Sarkar led CPI (M) government in Tripura in 2018, he added.

Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is gaining momentum day by day in Left dominated Tripura with hundreds of new corners joining the party every week. Since the Panchayat election BJP has been setting its footmarks in different parts of the state especially in the villages and towns. At present even a huge section of the grass root workers of CPI (M) and Congress has started to accept BJP as a platform for raising their voice of protest against the miss rule of CPI (M), he mentioned.
He criticized the Left Front for having their orthodox mentality and they haven’t served the common people. He also said that the CPI(M) MP’s do not raise the issues of the state at the parliament and remain numb there.
He also criticizes the Left Front Governments alternative policies and said that those are against common people.  "Due to clandestine understanding between the CPI(M) and the Congress at the national level, Congress will never launch an effective and pro-people movement against the misrule of CPI(M) in Tripura," Dasgupta mentioned.
The uninterrupted 22 year stint in power seems to have taken a toll on the financial transparency of the Left Front administration in Tripura. Corruption in implementation of rural development schemes continues unabated. There is a state government of Tripura eats up all the money which comes from the central government for development, he alleged.
