AGARTALA, April 30 (TIWN): Gold ornaments worth about 8 to 9 lakh rupees were stolen from the house of a person named Siman Debbarma in Bhati Abhaynagar area.

On being informed, Abhaynagar Outpost police had reached the spot.

This incident spread tension in the area. Local people have slammed the security system of the city citing the rising theft incidents in the capital city.
