AGARTALA, March 29 (TIWN): About 88 percent of the work for Bhadarghat to Nishchintapur i.e. Charipara Panchayat Railway Station and Charipara to Bangladesh has been completed, Minister Sushant Chowdhury said on Wednesday.

The Minister recently had made a visit to the construction site and told media that the work is going on at high speed and it’s expected that within 5 to 6 months the project will be completed.

Sushanta Chowdhury also mentioned that till Charipara the connection will be broad-gauge and from Charipara to Bangladesh it will be metre gauge.

“The much awaiting project to start functioning soon and people’s demand for easy trade with Bangladesh will be fulfilled”, Chowdhury told media.
