AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): Union Home Minister Amit Shah held meeting with Tipra Motha Chief Pradyot Manikya. After the meeting Pradyot Manikya in a press meet expressed satisfaction over the discussion held during the meeting with Amit Shah.

The Royal Scion said, “Had a fruitful and long meeting with Amit Shah. He knows about our issues, and he assured that within 2-3 days he will appoint an interlocutor through the Govt of India for Constitutional Solutions for our Tiprasa People’s problems. The interlocuter had been appointed in Nagaland, and a similar arrangement will be done to solve a long pending problem of the indigenous peoples of Tripura”.
Manikya thanked Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the assurance of solving Tiprassa People’s problem.
