AGARTALA, Feb 22 (TIWN): SDPO Ajay Kumar Das called all political party leaders on Wednesday and warned all parties to refrain from any sort of violence as ‘that will not be tolerated’. Tripura Election was held on February 16 and the result will be declared on March 2nd. When administration and police under the Election Commission of India's direction, working 24X7 to maintain the law and order of the state, in contrary to that approach of the administration, political party workers on social media are threatening each other, spreading fake news which has kept the situation very tight and tense. Also political hate mongering is active on social media platform.

Calling a meeting with all the political parties, SDPO Ajay Kumar Das said, “We already held all-party-meeting for peace earlier, but this is categorically targeted for 2nd March result day, a crucial day of the poll. We will not tolerate any disturbance. We have told them (political parties) in advance. Strict actions will be taken against such activities or any provocation”.
