AGARTALA, Feb 10 (TIWN): Not more than 24 hours passed that allegation raised against BJP councilor to threaten a woman advocate in Ramnagar by showing pistol, another similar allegation was raised against BJP in Bishalgarh.

The incident took place near Murabari Rail Bridge of Bishalgarh.

At around 12 noon on Friday, BJP-backed miscreants allegedly attacked Pradeep Debnath with pistols in the area adjacent to the Murabari railway bridge. The leftist activist Pradeep Debnath went to Krishna Debnath's house in the area and took shelter.

Later, when the incident was reported, Bishalgarh police and paramilitary forces went to the spot. The BJP miscreants were able to hide from the spot.

The incident is under investigation.
