AGARTALA, Feb 4 (TIWN): Left Front Birchandra Manu Candidate Satyajit Reang made a courtesy meeting with BJP workers during door to door campaigning, which put the BJP workers in an uncomfortable situation. The video has gone viral where the Left Front candidate met the BJP workers but seemed the BJP workers were not prepared for that and maximum of them were not interested to continue the talk and was in a tight situation. Satyajit Reang extended his hand for a shake with a BJP worker but the BJP worker kept seated and his eyes were down and did not greet Satyajit with handshake. However some of the BJP workers, at last, bid him gratitude with folded hands.

Netizens have praised the Birchandra Manu opposition candidate for his move. Reportedly, Satyajit Reang is a former teacher among 10323 teachers.

Former BJP Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee once during his parliamentary speech wanted to educate the nation with a culture of mutual respect for political rivals. He explained how amid many differences, he maintained a very friendly relationship with Jawaharlal Nehru. But such a speech of Vajpayee could not influence the BJP kariyakartas in the Modi era which led the BJP workers to an annoying situation in Birchandra Manu today.

Tripura election is going to be held on February 16 and the result will be declared on 2nd March.
