Then in the afternoon, BJP announced to share 5 seats with the IPFT whereas the rest 7 seats will be given to BJP which is yet to be announced.

Addressing media, CM Manik Saha said that BJP is always committed to its allies and in the case of IPFT also, BJP will not break the alliance.

The seats which were shared with IPFT are: 1) Asharambari, 2) Takarjala, 3) Ramchandraghat, 4) Jolaibari, 5) Kanchanpur.
