AGARTALA, Jan 27 (TIWN): Disturbing scenario caught in Journalist’s camera in GB Hospital. The syringes, saline pipes and other items used by patients in the GB hospital, are thrown into dustbin.
But temporary workers working at GB Hospital allegedly collect them and after cleaning send them to the market.
Such an incident caught in Journalist’s camera red-handed.

On being asked about it the temporary worker Pradeep Das could not give any logical response, and also avoided Journalist’s question.
Reuse of syringes and other items which were used by other patients in GB Hospital can spread diseases like HIV, AIDS.
No clarification has been given by the GB Hospital authority.
