AGARTALA, Jan 5 (TIWN): CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury on Thursday after departure of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, slammed him for lying to the people of Tripura.
“Amit Shah claimed that Kushashan has been ended and Sushashan has been established. This was a total lie, no link with the reality”, said Chowdhury.
“People of Tripura have suffered a lot due to the Kushashan of the BJP. No Freedom of Speech remained. Initially CPI-M workers were being attacked but gradually the attack has expanded against all sections of people”, said Chowdhury.
He further hit Amit Shah on his various pre-poll promises which he gave to the people of Tripura before 2018 election.
