In the case of 50,000 Govt jobs, 7th Pay Commissions, and similar promises BJP’s report card remains red-marked whereas in political violence the state has been amongst the top states in India leaving 26 opposition workers murdered.

However, on 18^th December Prime Minister Narendra Modi advocated BJP’s “Double Engine” Govt, claiming further that the Double Engine Govt is working now in “Double Speed”. Although PM Modi skipped any of the promises which were given by his Govt in 2018-Vision Document, he stated that Tripura has been undergoing massive development under the Double-Engine Govt. He mentioned stated got International Airport and new roadway connectivity. Modi claimed it was BJP Govt that had developed the internet facility in state and along with Digital connectivity it has enabled social connectivity.

“Tripura is emerging as the logistic hub. At the same time, in Health Sector due to Ayushman Bharat project, like other states, Tripura too getting the facilities”, said Modi.

“Only in 5 years over 4 lakhs people got water connectivity. Lakhs of people received housing scheme’s benefits. People will get pipeline gases from house to house and the Double Engine Govt is working on that”, said Modi.

Modi accused the former Communist Govt for ADC area’s pathetic condition, stressing further now under the BJP Govt, that section of people are overcoming their drawbacks and developing towards the mainstream.
