AGARTALA, Dec 20 (TIWN): CPIM Chandipur Zone Committee held a rally. The rally started from the Chandipur Gram Panchayat office premises and walked through various roads of South Chandipur including Bijit Nagar, Indira Nagar and reached Bhairav Tholi premises in South Chandipur and met in a party meeting.

Though, the party leaders have been conducting various programs on behalf of the party for the past one and a half months in various village Panchayat areas of the entire Chandipur assembly constituency. And it is informed by the party that the common people are getting very good response to these programs

CPIM Unkoti district committee secretary Krishnanendu Chowdhury, CPIM leaders Nanda Debnath, Jiban Debnath, youth leaders Prateek Das, Rohan Das and many others led the party meeting and the rally.

Addressing the party meeting at Bhairav Thali premises after the rally, CPIM Unkoti District Committee Secretary Krishnendu Chowdhury said that the BJP is a JUMLA party as they yet not fulfilled any of the promises they made to the people of the state before the 2018 elections. As BJP assured to provide drinking water to every house in the state through Atal Jaldhara, but in reality they did not fulfil any given promises.

Krishnendu Chowdhury raised question, if drinking water is reached to every house, then why is the drinking water being delivered by car every day in Chandipur Gram Panchayat area? He called on the party supporters to overthrow the BJP government in 2023.
