But suddenly some ruling BJP miscreants in the area demanded Rs 50,000 from Sadhana Das and warned her that if this money is not paid then the marriage will be stopped. The woman told the ruling party’s miscreants that she cannot pay the money as she marrying off her daughter by taking debt.

On the morning of the wedding while the woman went to the market for fish and meat the miscreants tried to drag the woman to the forest. The woman alleged that the perpetrators were not able to do anything serious because there were some youths in the market who saved her.

The girl got married on the same date but no guests came on the wedding day centering this issue.

The victim woman filed a case to the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lawyers Bhaskar Debbarma and Sadhana Sarkar Das (victim) briefed the entire details before the media. Now it is to be seen whether the miscreants will be punished or not.
