AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN): Staffs of NABS Company has been appointed for cleaning of Santir Bazar located District Hospital have gone on strike. At present two men and 11 women are engaged in sweeping work in the district hospital.

The agitating employees said, although it was told them they will be paid Rs. 10000 but they are only given Rs. 4000.

On the other hand, at the time of joining the work, it was said that the salary will be increased every year, which has not been done so far.

The staffs also alleged heavy work-load. Protesting all these, they have started a strike for an unlimited period of time.
