TIWN Dec 12, 2022
AGARTALA, Dec 12 (TIWN): Unemployed Veterinary Doctors on Monday met the Director of Animal Resources Development Dept and raised their demands.
The urgent basis demand was a correction of a notification where the State Govt has called for candidates for a Central Govt led project workers for the Mobile Veterinary Doctors but whereas in other states the employees are getting Rs. 50,000 salaries in Tripura in the notification it was shown that Rs. 25,000 will be given.
The job aspirants said it is a deprivation to them when permanent job recruitment has almost stopped in this state.
“There is almost no recruitment of Veterinary Doctors and now when a Central govt project’s job notification was given the Govt has slashed half salary. In other words, we are not able to become a part of the Govt’s so called SU-SHASHAN”, said Dr. Partha Pratim Datta, General Secretary of Tripura Veterinary Doctors’ Forum.
