AGARTALA, Dec 12 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Sunday delivered tall claims about Quality Education, Massive Recruitment, Positive Govt while addressing the TET qualified candidates. But one day after his speech, it was noticed that his house was gheraoed by job aspirants who qualified STGT before 3 months. Talking to a job aspirant, she said, “We are knocking various doors for 3 months but Govt has no concern to recruit us. We talked to the Education Minister many times but he is not strict with his statement. Various times he is talking differently. We want to want what is the actual intention of the Govt. What game is going on with us ?”
The tension among job aspirants increased as Ratan Lal Nath also said, “TET qualification does not mean getting teachers’ job”.
Today, the agitators who gheraoed Ratan Lal Nath’s house asked, “When the schools are suffering due to extreme teachers’ crisis, why does not the Govt recruiting us ? Students are agitating everyday seeking recruitment but the Govt has no urgency to complete the procedure”.

The issue is sensitive as STGT qualification remains valid for a certain period. As election is nearby, recruitment to get paused which may affect the candidates lives.
