AGARTALA, Dec 10 (TIWN): In the door-to-door campaigning, BJP leaders are now facing heavy questions from the common men and thanks go to Vision Document’s unrealistic promises given to the people of Tripura. In Jirania, public chased BJP leaders after they visited the area for door to door campaigning on Saturday. Reason behind massive resentment against the BJP is due to hefty numbers of unfulfilled promises laid in the Vision Document. 10323 teachers in various groups are continuing their protests whom BJP before 2018 election promised to give a constitutional solution.

Social pension is a massive burning issue which BJP Govt promised to raise up to Rs. 2000 but it was never promised that social pensions will be stopped for maximum beneficiaries. Under BJP Tripura witnessed 80+ old beneficiaries pensions stopped which left many to die of starvation.

Wherever the BJP leaders are going, they are facing questions about stopped Social Pensions. Thousands of old people are complaining that their pensions were stopped.

Same happened in the 10323 teachers’ issue. 10323 teachers’ issue turned a major political issue before 2018 Election. BJP promised to solve the issue if voted to power but now it’s 33 months that the 10323 teachers are left jobless.

BJP also promised to give 50,000 Govt jobs by 2018-19 in the vacant posts existing in the then Left Govt’s time.

There are other promises like MGNREGA wage Rs. 340 whereas resulted in a heavy down in MGNREGA mandays.

However, question remains, whether actually, MGNREGA mandays were downed and social pensions stopped for many or it’s state-rooted corruption in Tripura, looting poor people’s money.
