AGARTALA, Dec 2 (TIWN): 3 vehicles one after another met with an accident due to reckless driving. The incident took place on Friday in the 41 mile area of 18 Mura Hills under Mungiakami police station on Assam-Agartala National Highway.
It is reported that Alto car number-TR05B0287 was on Assam-Agartala National Highway on its way towards Agartala collided head-on with Boloro car number TR06 B 1596 speeding from the opposite direction at 41 mile area under Mungiakami PS. Unfortunately another alto vehicle No- TR06 0653 was speeding behind the car No- TR05B0287
In this collision, four passengers of two vehicles were seriously injured. Local residents reported the accident to Teliamura Fire Department. Teliamura Fire Department personnel rushed to the accident spot located in the 41 mile area. From there, the firemen brought four seriously injured people to Teliamura sub-Divisional Hospital.
Meanwhile, the injured are Pramod Sutradhar, Pradeep Sutradhar both of Chailangta area and Subhash Debnath of Amarpur and Jantu Pal of Kumarghat.
As the condition of two of them is serious, they were sent to GBP Hospital for better treatment.
The remaining two are undergoing treatment at Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital. Meanwhile, the police of Mungiakami PS rescued three vehicles and brought them to the police station.
