Party's Teliamura Divisional secretary Hemant Kumar Jamatia, Left leader Subir Sen, former Left MLA Manindra Chandra Das and others were present.  In this context, former left MLA Manindra Chandra Das said that Block Deputation and road meetings were supposed to be held on behalf of the CPIM party in Charilam on Wednesday. But BJP-backed miscreants in broad Day-light organised an attack on CPIM workers and MLA Bhanulal Saha in front of the police to prevent CPIM party workers from placing Deputation and subsequently beaten to death a party worker Sahid Mia.

MLA Manindra Chandra Das also condemned Police’s role with the Martyred Sahid Mia’s dead body.

In view of this incident, the CPIM party held a protest program in the state on Thursday in Teliamura and tight police security was noticeable at the CPIM's protest program in Teliamura on Thursday.
