After the murder, Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarman and Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath came in support of BJP. Jishnu Debbarma asked, “Why former Minister of CPI-M Bhanulal Saha visited Charilam as he is a leader of Bishalgarh”.

After many CPI-M workers were injured in BJP’s attack and police were unable to take action against BJP goons, CPI-M countered and after that BJP started bombing which generated a terror-situation there. The entire incident took placed in front of Police.

Then BJP had thrown bombs which left many CPI-M workers injured further.  BJP workers were also injured in the clash. Police officials were also inured in that incident.

Huge numbers of Police personnel were deployed to bring the situation under control, but no BJP worker was arrested for the murder yet.
