AGARTALA, Nov 19 (TIWN): As Per the Pre-announced program Congress organised ‘Bharat Jodo, Tripura Bachao’ Rally in Belonia. The Congress activists while reached to Chotrakhola area after organising a rally in Siddhinagar area, the BJP miscreants’ allegedly organised attack on Congress activists.
In this attack 5 Congress workers reportedly received injuries. The injured were Mamin Mia, Masuk Mia, Haradhan Majumder and others.
The matter was reported to the PR Bari PS but the Police allegedly did not take any appropriate action against the miscreants and played a biased role.
Over Police’s biased role the Congress activists placed deputation to PR Bari PS seeking arrest of the miscreants.
