AGARTALA, Nov 9 (TIWN): IPFT former Minister Mebar Jamatia joined Tipra Motha party on Wednesday after he resigned from MLA post on Tuesday. Congratulating Mebar Jamatia for his decision to join Tipra Motha, party supremo Pradyot Manikya stated that so far political parties have been settling down with money or position but in the case of Tipra Motha things are different and nobody can buy a Tipra Motha leader because they are true representatives of people.

“Our leaders do not join for money. They are not after positions. Many leaders are coming into Tipra Motha party and they all are true leaders who want to work for the people”, said Pradyot Manikya citing how many leaders from various parties have joined Tipra Motha in the last few days.

Tipra Motha is now the ruling party in ADC, a regional party demanding a permanent constitutional solution for the ADC areas and indigenous, SC and rural people including religious minorities.
