SABROOM, Nov 5 (TIWN): Amid BJP led State Govt's tall claims about “Sushashan”, BJP workers' tortures have turned common men’s lives into hell across Tripura either it's gun-attack, bomb-blast or demand for donations. A Govt employee of the Food Dept was thrashed by BJP goons on Friday in the South District of Tripura after he refused to pay money to them.

The incident took place in Sabroom subdivision's Food Store of the FCI. The employee was assaulted in broad daylight after he refused to pay the hefty amount which was sought from him.

Before Durga puja, a huge amount of money was sought from the Govt employee but he kept on requesting the BJP party members that he is just a Govt employee, and so can’t pay as per the demands. As a Govt employee whatever his capacity is, he will pay accordingly.

On Friday, the BJP workers again visited the office and after he refused to pay the demanded amount, he was assaulted. However, the issue was exposed after one of the employees in the office could manage to videograph the entire incident.

FIR was lodged at the local police station. Now, it’s to be seen what action the Police take against the hooligans. 

When an old aged worker attempted to save the employee, BJP goons also assaulted him.
