AGARTALA, Nov 4 (TIWN): Sushashan banners wasting taxpayers’ money failed to bring relief in common men’s lives in Tripura under the BJP Governance as house-to-house attacks by bike-gang continue in the state keeping the 2023 Election ahead. After BJP workers held a gun attack, bombing in Bishalgarh, clash occurred between Congress and BJP but police arrested only the Congress members and no action was taken against the BJP goons. Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarman along with the BJP workers who were involved in the clash entered the SDPO office and warned the police officers after which, Congress members were arrested and the charges which were earlier brought against the BJP initially were imposed on the Congress members.
CCTV footage has caught BJP members attacking house to house, and set fires to cars, and properties. However, the police’s action is unexpected against BJP hooligans in such cases which can be said based on the records of last 4.5 years.
Tripura witnessed broad daylight attacks on party offices, and newspaper offices where even after having evidences in public hands, police did not take action against the ruling party hooligans. House-to-house attacks under BJP rule, have turned into normal incidents without the expectancy of any police action.
