AGARTALA, Oct 27 (TIWN): The residents of Madhupur Radhanagar area expressed angst after suffering from Power Cut for the past 4 days.
The locals protested against the Power Department staff including the senior manager of the Madhupur Electricity Department office on Thursday morning.
Reportedly, On 24th October, Cyclone Sitrang downed power poles along with power cables on roads, leaving the area under power cut for four days from Monday night to Thursday.
The local people repeatedly informed the Madhupur electricity office and the staff but they are not taking any initiative to restore the service led the locals to go in protest.
They said that the Madhupur power workers manage their offices according to their own.
On Thursday morning locals visited the Power office demanding to fix the issue and staged a protest.
