AGARTALA, Oct 17 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Saha on Monday while addressing Dumboor tourist-huts inauguration program stated that unemployment is a major problem but Tripura is not the only place suffering due to it, rather, it is an international problem. CM said, “Our Govt already announced to recruit all TET qualifiers together who are above 3000. More than 4000 new police personnel are to be recruited, but this has to be remembered that only Govt job is not the solution to overcome unemployment problems".
"There is 7 times rise in SHG groups' numbers which means people are getting benefits out of that. Tribal women are experts in making high-quality garments and now Tripura Risha is nationally famous which was never so much before. I would encourage for more local productions in the garment sector as Tripura’s clothes are well designed and best in quality among all Northeast states”, CM said.
“We will go to the people with reports cards in hands. 100 days' work will be targeted and that will be submitted before the masses after completion within 100 days....…our Govt does not wear masks like others. Many would mock at the Double-Engine concept but in reality they did nothing for the state’s development”, said Saha.
“Last week, President of India flagged off two trains. Tripura Airport is emerging as the best in Northeast. In future people do not need to go outside for medical treatment. Already in rural areas, referral cases have decreased. TMC hospital will be massively developed. Now Doctors' salaries have been increased a lot. Ambassa to get new Medical college. So, on all sides, our Govt trying its level best to develop”, said Saha.
