AGARTALA, Oct 9 (TIWN): BJP came to power in 2018 by aligning with IPFT and winning highest majority amid the Modi wave and Vision Document’s promises which were unveiled by the then Union Minister Arun Jaitley. During that time people had no idea that all the promises which had been done by the BJP were actually ‘calculated lies’ to win the poll. In such an example, BJP’s the then Party Observer Sunil Deodhar’s 2017 tweet sharing Assam’s present CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s press meet wrote a caption “7th Pay Commission will be granted to all State Employees Immediately, Sarv-Shiksha-Abhiyan employees will be granted permanent status, 10323 victim teachers will also be appointed again…”. Deodhar had tagged Himanta Biswa Sarma in that post.
But after around 5 years of the Govt, when elections are nearby, Tripura employees are falsely given 7th Pay Commission with around 27% pending DA whereas West Bengal employees under 6th Pay Commission getting double-salary than Tripura employees.
On the other hand regularization of SSA teachers were not done even after High Court allowed the State Govt to do so.
10323 teachers are the highest victim whose death toll has raised to 141 and left jobless for 2 years.
