AGARTALA, Oct 5 (TIWN): On the occasion of Bijoya Dashami, rushes of customers were witnessed in sweet shops across the state.
Bijoya Dashami marks the ending of Durga puja. It is considered as the day for family get together.
People exchange sweets in houses and celebrate this day.
The idol immersion of Goddess Durga also starts the day amid Sindoor khela played by married women.
