AGARTALA, Sep 25 (TIWN): On Thursday CPIM held a programme in Amtali area, where a CPIM activist named Piyali Choudhury was brutally attacked by BJP miscreants with sticks also assaulted her physically in broad Daylight while she was returning after attending CPIM’s program in Amtali area. It is alleged that the CPIM active worker Piyali Choudhury was beaten up by wooden sticks also snatched by holding hair. After the incident she was admitted to IGM Hospital.

However after the incident yet no one is detained, so the AIDWA activists demanding severe punishment of the BJP miscreants gheraoed the Women PS on Friday.

The AIDWA members stated if the miscreants don’t get punished then they will go for massive protest state-wide.
