AGARTALA, Sep 11 (TIWN): On the basis of secret information, the police of Teliamura PS seized illegal liquor from Chakmaghat area in an anti-narcotics operation. The incident took place on Saturday night.

According to the details, Teliamura PS seized a huge amount of liquor on Saturday night from Kush Sarkar’s house from a village behind Chakmaghat TSR camp in Teliamura PS area. The market value of seized liquor is around Rs 5000-7000.

The OC said that currently an officer crisis is going on in Teliamura PS, so the police cannot undertake such operations on a daily basis.

However, the Teliamura PS police said that their anti-drug operations will be continued to catch the illegal traders.
