AGARTALA, July 6 (TIWN): Netizens trolled Tripura's sacked CM for traveling via train from Agartala to Kumarghat as they did not see him on trains or buses during his CM tenure.
It was just a few months back that Tripura’s the then Chief Minister Biplab Deb insulted the judiciary by saying “No contempt case can drag any official to jail as he is the Supreme Power of Tripura, holding the Home Dept and controlling the police” and before that he threatened media “Won’t forgive” over Covid news reports.
He is the same person, who used chopper highest ever than any CM in the state and sometimes with family members, personal tours, for attending marriages he used helicopters but today Biplab deb was spotted visiting Kumarghat via train.
However, today also, the numbers of private security personnel around him were more than the incumbent CM.
Deb said, he is feeling very good because after 2014 he never traveled by train from Tripura, as there were fewer numbers of trains at that time in the state.
