AGARTALA, Aug 1 (TIWN): Clashes erupted among BJP and Congress members after Congress took the initiative to open a closed Congress party office in Charilam as in coming days Congress will organize a Party program.

Noticing the opening of the Congress Party office, BJP activists raised slogans on the roads holding BJP flags in their hands. The Congress activists too fuelled after noticing BJP’s provocation.

Centering this suddenly clashes erupted among two party’s activists, and to control the situation Police forces were deployed.

Also Section-144 was imposed after the clashes.
